This specification covers pressure-type, wire-reinforced, rubber, hydraulic hose and hose assemblies. The core of this specification uses SAE-J517. The operating pressures range between 625 psi to 7,500 psi (4.3 to 48.3 MPa). The operating temperature range is -40°F to +212°F (-40°C to 100°C).Intended Use: Hose and hose assemblies covered by this specification are intended for use in hydraulic equipment systems at temperatures ranging from -40°F to 200°F (-40°C to 93.3°C). Hoses, type 100R are designed for ground vehicles, hydraulic test stands, and ground support equipment. They are not intended for aircraft use. These hose assemblies are used in vehicle hydraulic systems requiring interoperability and compatibility with military associated components, in combat and or harsh environments.
